Ewald Leaving Ceridian HR Business

January 11, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Due to "an evaluation of the organizational structure of the company," Ceridian's human resource solution business' president, Robert Ewald, will be leaving the company.

Ewald will also be resigning from the company’s Board of Directors, according to a press release from the company. Ewald had been on the Board since 1997, and had been the president of the human resources business for 18 months.

“After an evaluation of the organizational structure of the Company, we have concluded that a realignment of the Corporate organization would be prudent,” according to Ronald Turner, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Ceridian. “The first step in this realignment is that the human resource solutions business will report directly to me.”

Turner added that the company has no plans to alter its strategy and will continue on the same path as before.
