E&Y Offers New Web-based Advice Tool

December 5, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Ernst & Young LLP has launched a new Web-based financial advice and planning tool for employers looking to offer their employees access to investment guidance and specific financial advice.

Ernst & Young’s eAdvisorPlus tool offers analysis and guidance on current employee investments in taxable and tax-deferred accounts, taking into account the employee and spouse’s current financial holdings.  

The employee will have access to advice in a range of financial issues, including:

  • Stock options
  • Taxes
  • Insurance
  • Investments
  • Debt and spending
  • Retirement planning
  • Education funding

Employees also have the option to consult with a financial planner, online or via telephone, for particular financial planning advise on their specific eAdvisor plan.

Employers deciding to implement eAdvisorPlus have the option to offer investment guidance or allow specific investment advice.   If opting for guidance only, a n employer can add the investment advice component later.
