Reported by Corie Russell
Vincent Smith will be the first
consultant based in the Boston office. Smith has more than a decade of
experience providing investment advisory services to retirement plans. His
focus is on providing services to defined contribution retirement plan clients
in both the corporate and tax-exempt markets. Before joining FIA in July of
2011, Smith was a senior member of the consulting teams at Longfellow Advisors
and Cammack LaRhette Consulting.
Smith has experience providing consulting services on the investment due diligence process and completing comprehensive market review and benchmarking projects. His clients include hospitals, higher education institutions and other corporate plan sponsors.
“We feel a presence in New England’s financial center makes sense to better service our existing clients in that area, as well as to have an office to help recruit talented advisers and analysts to FIA,” said Mark Wetzel, FIA president.
