Fidelity Launches New Corporate Bond Discipline

December 10, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Fidelity Management Trust Company has announced a new dedicated corporate bond investment discipline for institutional investors.

The corporate bond discipline will invest in investment-grade corporate debt securities and other investment-grade fixed-income issues.   Through research, quantitative analysis and risk controls, the discipline will seek a return over the Lehman Brothers Credit Index.

“We developed this new institutional discipline in response to the growing demand in the marketplace for investment managers with highly specialized credit research skills,” said Andy Windmueller, senior vice president and fixed-income investment director of Fidelity Management Trust Company.

The new discipline will add to Fidelity’s institutional fixed-income offerings, which includes core bond, core plus, intermediate bond, mortgage bond, municipal bond, high-yield and emerging market debt.
