First Mercantile Introduces Sales Director for Northwest Region

October 20, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - First Mercantile announced that Marc McDaniels joined its national sales team effective September 14, 2009, as regional sales director for the Northwest region.

The Northwest region territory is composed of the states of Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, according to the announcement. McDaniels is responsible for developing new business through bank brokers, consultants, employee benefit brokers, independent broker-dealers, life brokers, registered investment advisers, regional stock brokers, TPAs, and wirehouses in the region.

McDaniels was previously employed as an external wholesaler for MassMutual Financial Group. Prior to that, he held positions at Genworth, Allianz, and MetLife.

First Mercantile, a member of MassMutual Financial Group, is a collective investment trust (CIT) recordkeeper, and offers investment solutions exclusively for qualified retirement plans.
