First Union Launches New e401k

November 1, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - First Union Benefit Services Group (BSG) has launched a new product, the Evergreen Connect k, an internet-based 401(k) product.

First Union partnered with Denver-based Fast401k to offer the product.

Besides offering the services sponsors would normally find on a Web-based 401(k) product, Evergreen Connect offers participants the option of working directly with First Union representatives. When registering for the plan, sponsors may elect to work with a financial professional in the creation and maintenance of their plan.

Additionally, plan sponsors may choose from 41 funds, including Evergreen Funds and third-party funds offered through 10 other mutual fund family alliances.
