Franklin Templeton Launches Mid Cap Growth Portfolio

Templeton Portfolio Advisors has announced the introduction
of the Franklin Portfolio Advisors Mid Cap Growth
portfolio.

According to the company, the Mid Cap Growth portfolio invests in companies whose market capitalization is typically between $2 billion and $10 billion at thetime of investment.
The introduction of the Mid Cap Growth portfolio will round out the company’s current domestic growth portfolios – which include Small Cap Growth, Multi Cap Growth and Large Cap Core Growth portfolios – according to the company.
The strategy will be managed by Ed Jamieson and Michael McCarthy. Jamieson has over 28 years of experience and McCarthy has 12 years, according to the company, and both arepart of the team that manages the Small Cap Growth portfolio headed by Zachary Perry.
