FT Interactive Data Unveils Securities Info Product

December 12, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - A program from a Bedford, Massachusetts company might make it easier to retrieve securities data throughout a trading day.

FT Interactive Data said SIRS-on-Demand, its newly enhanced Securities Information Retrieval Service (SIRS), delivers a data output file to add to a client’s securities database to clients who send an input file to FT Interactive Data.

SIRS-on-Demand complements FT Interactive Data’s SIRS product, which provides descriptive data for fixed income and equity securities.

This service allows FT Interactive Data clients to automate the addition of new security holdings to their securities master file throughout the business day, while also adding securities to their current SIRS holdings file for ongoing maintenance, the company said.

SIRS-on-Demand is available for all asset types available in the SIRS product except options, the company said.
