Guardian Beefs Up Small Biz Group Life Offering

December 11, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian) has announced two key enhancements to its Small Group Life product offering for groups with 2-9 lives.

Available through its nationwide Small Group Sales (SGS) program, these enhancements are an expansion of options already available to larger groups to help meet employee benefit needs, according to a press release.  

Effective immediately:

  • Guardian now offers guaranteed issue of up to $50,000 for businesses with 2-9 lives allowing employees group life coverage without medical examinations and requiring limited underwriting*
  • Guardian’s LifeAssist feature is now standard on all group life policies.
