ICMA-RC to Unwrap New Web Site

September 20, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - ICMA-RC, a public sector retirement plan provider, is set to unveil a redesigned Web site on Thursday.

The company announced that the new tooled site,  www.icmarc.org , features focused content and is easier to use than its predecessor. For example, individuals will be able to access the new Quick Guide to retirement planning, which includes a “five minute check up,” to see how much they need to save for retirement, given a fixed set of conditions, according to a news release.

They can also move to an “Advanced Retirement Planning Guide,” where they have control to build a picture tailored to their circumstances.

A new section is devoted to those who are new to ICMA-RC, which guides participants who are just beginning a new relationship with ICMA-RC investing. The site also continues its tradition of customized transition Web sites with information for participants in new plans coming to ICMA-RC, the news release said.

Employers can use ICMA-RC’s proprietary EZLink to review and manage their plans from one page. Developed by ICMA-RC’s Information Technology Department, EZLink is an Internet-based automated platform for retirement plan administration that is able to process contributions, enrollments, employee changes, and distribution requests along with many other functions.

Additionally, employers can establish new retirement plans and monitor relevant legislative and regulatory changes, the company said.

The redesigned site also includes information from ICMA-RC’s financial education program – offered free of charge to all customers.
