InterPay Launches Small Business Survey

June 21, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Almost three-quarters of small business owners say that offering healthcare is necessary in the hiring process, a new survey finds.

In its first “Small Business Matters” survey, which InterPay plans to field to its small business clients monthly, the payroll company also found that 70% of the sample does not offer pretaxed plans, or Section 125 & Flexible Spending Accounts, to their employees

  • 31% of small business owners say that business has increased by between 1 and 5% compared with last year
  • 58% identified their CPA as their most trusted business advisor.
