InterPay Launches Small Business Survey
June 21, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Almost
three-quarters of small business owners say that offering
healthcare is necessary in the hiring process, a new survey
finds.
Reported by Camilla Klein
In its first “Small Business Matters” survey, which InterPay plans to field to its small business clients monthly, the payroll company also found that 70% of the sample does not offer pretaxed plans, or Section 125 & Flexible Spending Accounts, to their employees
The survey, which the company says was launched to foster a better understanding of small business related issues, also revealed that:
- 31% of small business owners say that business has increased by between 1 and 5% compared with last year
- 58% identified their CPA as their most trusted business advisor.
