Lincoln Launches mPower Advice

December 20, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Lincoln Alliance Program has announced the launch of online investment guidance and advice through mPower.

Through a Web portal, Lincoln’s plan sponsor clients will be able to offer their participants access to their accounts and educational information.

The mPower guidance feature will provide participants with a target asset allocation based on retirement income needs and time horizon. Participants can also review their investment options, fund profiles and the impact various contribution rates have on their retirement income projections. Lincoln will be providing this service free to sponsors.

The mPower advice feature will allow participants to access personalized investment advice. It is customized to the plan’s funds and will specify in which funds a participant should consider investing and how much should be invested in each fund.

Additionally, the module helps participants create a personalized financial plan that takes into account existing household post-retirement goals and risk tolerance.
