Lockton Adds International Benefits Practice

Lockton said in its announcement, the new practice was launched to meet the growing demand for global benefit expertise. “ Our clients face many HR challenges when adding staff around the globe, assigning expatriates overseas, and sending business travelers abroad. Because our new international benefits practice has a broad yet intensive range of expertise and can consult on these complex issues, we are well-positioned to effectively respond to our multinational clients ‘  needs, ” said Mike Brewer, president of Lockton Benefit Group, in the announcement.

The practice will include strategic partnerships with international consultancies, the announcement said.

Pam Enright will head the International Benefit Services practice and will be based in the company’s Kansas City, Missouri headquarters. She joined Lockton from Aetna Global Benefits in Chicago, where she assisted corporations and non-profit organizations in designing and implementing cross-border benefit strategies.

The company said the launch of the Lockton international benefit practice complements its previously announced acquisition of Alexander Forbes International Risk Services. More information can be found at  www.lockton.com .
