Mass Mutual Taps Augsberger as Retirement Services Division COO

As COO, Augsberger will be responsible for recordkeeping, plan administration and service operations, including relationship management and call centers, according to the announcement. Augsberger will also assume oversight of the company’s projectmanagement operation and allocation of related information systems resources.

Augsberger most recently served as head of customer service and operations for ING US Retirement Services, the announcement said. Prior to ING, she held various senior leadership roles at Aetna.

MassMutual’s Retirement Services division offers a full range of products and services for corporate, union, nonprofit and governmental employers’ defined benefit, defined contribution and nonqualified deferred compensation plans, and serves more than one million participants.
