MassMutual Adds Rocky Mountain Area Sales Director

June 19, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - MassMutual's Retirement Services Division has hired Patrick Alfano as a sales director.

Alfano, who is based in Denver, Colorado, is responsible for business development and sales support of MassMutual’s third-party and dedicated distribution channels focusing on retirement plans with assets under $10 million in the Rocky Mountain region. He is partnering with MassMutual’s managing director, Andy Ambrose.

Alfano will report to Shefali Desai, emerging market sales manager for MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division.

Before joining MassMutual, Alfano was a sales director at Victory Funds.

“The Rocky Mountain territory continues to grow aggressively and MassMutual is committed to supporting our distribution network in this area with knowledgeable, service-oriented individuals like Pat,” said Desai. “Pat’s expertise will be a great asset to retirement plan advisers and third-party administrators striving to serve plan sponsors and participants in this market,” adds Desai.
