Mercer Names New York Metro Market Leader

November 17, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Mercer named Mary Tinebra, senior partner, as its New York Metro Market Leader. 
 

In this role, Tinebra has responsibility for overall market revenue generation and client satisfaction. She will report to Mindy Fox, Mercer’s US Region Head, and be based in New York.

Tinebra comes to her new role from Mercer’s Outsourcing business, where for the past four years she served as global head of business development.  During this time, Tinebra defined the marketing and sales programs to enable significant growth within the Outsourcing portfolio. Prior to joining Mercer, she held executive sales and global leadership positions at Compaq, now Hewlett-Packard. She also held the general manager position for Globix Corporation for the U.S. market.

Tinebra earned a BS in marketing and computer science from Merrimack College in Andover, Massachusetts, and an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She was recently inducted into the YWCA-NYC Academy of Women Leaders and serves on the Advisory Board. She is also on the Board of Directors for Hour Children a nonprofit in New York.
