Newport Executive Benefit Participants Offered Data Downloads

February 10, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Sponsors of executive benefit plans with The Newport Group can now offer participants the ability to download their account information to Quicken, a popular personal financial software package.

The account download capability is featured on  plandestination.com , Newport’s Web site on which participants can manage their accounts, perform transactions, and access investment strategies, financial planning, and educational information.

Newport already offers a downloading capability to participants in its 401(k) retirement plans through the same site.

Participant account downloads are compatible with Quicken 2005 and subsequent versions of the product. Additionally, account information may be downloaded to spreadsheets created with Microsoft Excel software, according to the company.
