Nyhart Announces Latin American Pension Partner

August 18, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Actuarial and employee benefits consulting firm Nyhart announced the launch of a new strategic partnership with GAMA Consultores Associados, a consulting firm in Brazil.

The alliance gives both firms an expanded expertise and technology that meets a growing demand from their international client-base.  

GAMA selected Nyhart after an extensive search of actuarial and employee benefits firms throughout the U.S. “We’ve found Nyhart has great similarities to the way that we do business,” said Guilherme Brum Gazzoni, a principal at the firm, in the announcement.  

 

The partnership will: 

  • Help Nyhart’s actuaries and benefit consultants better understand the retirement issues facing clients with International operations in Latin America 
  • Expand the Nyhart knowledge base for regulatory and cultural issues in retirement benefits for South American businesses 
  • Give the Brazilian firm access to expanding their business into the North American operations of their International clients 
  • Allow both firms to share technology and best-practices to improve business operations in an ever-growing global economy
