The branch office will give the companies of OneAmerica an important presence on Oahu and throughout Hawaii, the company said in a statement. OneAmerica recently expanded its retirement services sales region to obtain better market penetration.
Amir has been named client services manager for the branch. He has been active in the Hawaii business
community for more than 10 years, working with executives of local businesses
on retention, talent, marketing and sales strategies. He regularly speaks to
graduating seniors at the University of Hawaii on business ethics and sits on the board of Book Trust Oahu, a
nonprofit organization that supports literacy in local public schools.
“Our new regional office in Honolulu represents the only nationally recognized retirement services provider with a physical and permanent location in the state,” said Bill Yoerger, president of retirement services for the companies of OneAmerica.
