Pay Raises are Better in D.C.
A press release said Tampa and Boston rank 2nd and 3rd on the WorldatWork list – both awarding average 2.2% salary increases for middle performers. However, workers are more likely to get a raise in Tampa, as nearly eight in ten employers planned raises in 2009, compared to 77% of employers in D.C. and Boston.
