PeopleSoft Offering Fills HR Software Gaps

September 27, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - HR managers looking for ways to make their work lives less complicated may benefit from a new PeopleSoft online product.

According to a company press release, the PeopleSoft HelpDesk for Human Resources Internet-based product combines human capital management (HCM) and customer relationship management (CRM).

The company said the product features HR specialist productivity tools and workforce self-service and problem resolution capabilities to help employers fix HR inquiries and problems.

PeopleSoft HelpDesk for Human Resources gives HR specialists a 360-degree view of every employee’s case history and HR data, enabling them to quickly manage and resolve all employee HR issues, the company press release said.

Additionally, HR personnel can access and update a knowledge base of HR solutions to quickly find answers and automatically pass along knowledge to other specialists.

HelpDesk for Human Resources will also include a self-service component that will let workers solve their own problems the company said.
