Presbyterian Healthcare Freezes DB

November 6, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Presbyterian Healthcare Services will freeze its defined benefit pension plan effective January 1.

The 3,200 employees enrolled in the company’s defined benefit (DB) pension plan will receive the benefits they earn through the end of 2012, according to the Albuquerque Journal.  Presbyterian closed its DB plan to new hires in 2006 and offered them a 403(b) plan.

All employees may enroll in the 403(b) plan.
