Principal Tacks on Interactive Guide to Client Program

Using the guide, advisers can assist clients to determine a retirement plan. The guide will help define how clients want to spend their retirement, set their retirement timeline, and convey both the risks and steps to manage them, the company said.

The guide includes tools such as an interactive checklist based on time left until retirement, a workbook about managing retirement income, budget worksheets, Social Security information and a retirement income timeline.

The “More Business. Less Time.” program is free to bank financial professionals, career agents, and brokers who do business with The Principal.
