Mackenzie, SEI launch 4 quantitative investment CITs; T. Rowe Price introduces thematic active ETF; and BBH, SimCorp offer integrated technology, data, services solution for global asset managers.
Mackenzie, SEI Launch 4 Quantitative Investment CITs
Mackenzie Investments and SEI Investments Co. announced Tuesday the launch of four quantitative collective investment trusts:
- Mackenzie Quantitative International Large Cap CIT;
- Mackenzie Quantitative International Small Cap CIT;
- Mackenzie Quantitative US Small Cap CIT; and
- Mackenzie Quantitative Emerging Markets All Cap CIT.
The investment vehicles are designed to provide defined contribution and defined benefit plans with access to the Mackenzie global quantitative equity team’s holistic quantitative investment approach, according to the announcement.
SEI Trust Co. will serve as the trustee for the CITs.
T. Rowe Price Introduces Thematic Active ETF
T. Rowe Price introduced on Thursday the T. Rowe Price Innovation ETF, an active exchange-traded fund designed to provide diversified exposure to companies across sectors such as technology, health care and finance. The ETF is traded on the NASDAQ exchange.
The fund leverages the firm’s global research platform to combine analyses of innovation trends and individual securities, with an anticipated 150 to 250 holdings. T. Rowe Price retains the flexibility to invest outside of the identified areas.
The launch brings T. Rowe Price’s active ETF offerings to 31, including 21 equity solutions and 10 fixed-income products, as of January 29.
BBH, SimCorp Offer Integrated Technology, Data, Services Solution for Global Asset Managers
Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and SimCorp partnered to offer an integrated technology, data and services solution for global asset managers.
The solution uses BBH Infomediary—BBH’s connectivity and data integration engine—to combine SimCorp’s front and middle office capabilities with BBH’s fund servicing and custody suite. BBH Infomediary will also enable an open architecture model that helps connect clients to third-party technologies and service providers.
