Provost Joins Mercer in International Consulting Role

February 17, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Mercer has turned to Jean-Philippe Provost as U.S. International Consulting Group Leader.

A news release said Provost previously was Towers Watson’s international leader for the Eastern U.S. region and Canada.

Provost will report to Jacques Goulet, U.S. leader for Mercer’s Retirement, Risk and Finance group, and work with Barb Marder and Robyn Cameron, global co-leaders of the combined International Consulting Group serving the retirement and health and benefits markets. He will be based in New York.

Prior to joining Mercer, and before the Towers Watson merger, Provost was with Towers Perrin for 17 years, including assignments in Canada, Europe, and for the last ten years in New York where he led the firm’s US International Group. Provost has assisted clients with cross-border mergers and acquisitions, global governance strategy, strategic design, and global pension and global benefit financing.

He graduated with a degree in actuarial science from Laval University.
