Group Management Services Appoints Chief Revenue Officer

Beth Harhai

Group Management Services Inc., appointed Beth Harhai as chief revenue officer. In her role, Harhai will lead revenue strategy and sales execution for the national certified professional employer organization, which provides human resources, payroll, benefits and risk management solutions to small and mid-size businesses.

Harhai has two decades of executive sales and revenue leadership experience across health care services, technology and enterprise solutions. Most recently, she served as vice president and head of sales at Core Solutions, a Relias company. She also serves as an advisory board member at Wave Therapeutics, an emerging health technology company.

Previously, Harhai held senior leadership roles at organizations including AMN Healthcare, DeliverHealth, Blackbaud, Healthgrades and Allscripts.

 

Former Citi Exec Joins Reinsurance Group of America’s Board of Directors

Peter Babej

Reinsurance Group of America Inc., a global life and health reinsurer, appointed Peter Babej to the company’s board of directors, effective April 1.

Most recently, Babej served as chairman and interim head of banking at Citigroup, before retiring in 2024. Prior to that role, he was CEO of Citi Asia Pacific, where he led operations across multiple markets and oversaw a workforce of approximately 70,000 employees.

Babej previously served as Citi’s global head of financial institutions and held senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Lazard. Throughout his career, Babej has advised on mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on clients across financial services, insurance and reinsurance.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, as well as a law degree and doctorate from Harvard University.

RGA had approximately $4.3 trillion of life reinsurance in force, and total assets of $156.6 billion, as of December 31, 2025.

CFP Board Appoints Chief of Staff

June Taylor

The Certified Financial Planner Board, the professional body for personal financial planners in the U.S., appointed June Taylor as chief of staff to the newly appointed CEO K. Dane Snowden, effective March 16. Taylor will serve as strategic adviser to Snowden, support the board of directors and oversee human resources and the executive office.

Taylor brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across government, education and the private sector. She previously served as chief operating officer of the Colorado state attorney general’s office; executive director of the Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration and state personnel director on the cabinet of then-Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. She also was chief human resources officer for Denver Public Schools; and senior manager for culture, diversity and equal opportunity programs at Lockheed Martin Space.

Taylor began her career as a federal attorney with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Western Area Power Administration and later held senior roles at the Federal Communications Commission, including chief of staff to the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, where she previously served as Snowden’s chief of staff.

Taylor holds a law degree from the University of Denver College of Law and graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of New Mexico.
