Rubin Takes D.C.-area Sales Post for AUL
Under the direction of regional vice president Sam Kneuper, Rubin will provide sales and product support to financial professionals in the greater Washington area who sell 401(k) and 403(b) plans to their clients, according to the announcement. Her area will include Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.
Rubin began her career in banking before transitioning into retirement plan sales in 1997 for Manulife Financial/John Hancock. In 2000, she joined ING as a regional sales director in the Corporate Markets Division.
By 2001, the announcement said, Rubin was promoted to general manager and vice president for ING’s Mid-Atlantic region where she sold retirement plans, expanded relationships with brokers and third party administrators (TPAs), and oversaw a staff of sales representatives, internal wholesalers, client relationship managers, and an administrative staff. She became a divisional vice president, and in 2008, took on a new role for ING as head of TPA and channel management.
Additionally, Rubin is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries and the National Institute of Pension Administrators, and is a Certified Financial Planner.
