SageView Hires Midwest Managing Director
July 26, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – SageView Advisory Group has announced the appointment of Todd Kobayashi, CFA, as Managing Director, Investment Strategy of its Midwest team.

Kobayashi brings more than 18 years of experience to the independent retirement plan advisory firm, where he will develop customized investment strategies for defined benefit (DB) clients. He will also work with defined contribution (DC) clients to help them identify macro-economic trends and risk factors.
Kobayashi most recently spent five years chairing the investment committee for a DB plan, and previously worked as a senior corporate strategy executive and as a securities analyst in global interest rate, foreign exchange and stock markets. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Miami University, and has completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
“Todd’s firsthand experience on the plan sponsor side of the business provides him with significant insight,” said Randall Long, SageView founder and Managing Principal, in the announcement. “As an adviser to plan committees, he uses this knowledge as a foundation to provide first-rate services to plan sponsors.”
