Johnson will be based in the Washington, D.C., office and report to Ronald D. Merritt, senior vice president. Johnson will work with health plan clients throughout the firm’s eastern region and in the higher education market.

Johnson was most recently senior vice president for the employee benefits division of RCM&D, a privately held insurance advisory firm in Baltimore. He has also worked in the health benefits consulting field, namely as a vice president for Aon Hewitt and as a consultant for Segal (from 2001 to 2005).
Johnson holds a B.S. in health policy and administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. in health care management from Johns Hopkins University.
