Social Security Retirement Benefit Estimator Now Available
July 21, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Social
Security Administration has announced the availability of its
new Retirement Estimator which provides a secure,
personalized online estimate of future retirement
benefits.

The Retirement Estimator is a planning tool that allows users to get an immediate of their potential Social Security retirement benefits. The calculator is tied to users’ actual Social Security earnings records, so there is no need to manually enter years of earnings information, according to a Social Security news release.
The Retirement Estimator is interactive, allowing users to compare different retirement options by changing “stop work” dates or expected earnings.
The calculator is available at www.socialsecurity.gov/estimator .
