Transamerica Investment Team Now at Delaware Investments

April 4, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Jeffrey Van Harte and his team of managers who left Transamerica Investment Management last week have ended up at Delaware Investments.

At the time, Transamerica refused to say where the men – Van Harte, Christopher Bonavico, Kenneth Broad, and Daniel Prislin – were going. However, it turns out that the team, along with trader Lisa Hansen, will join Delaware in San Francisco, and be in charge of large-cap and all-cap growth products and strategies, and will handle one mid-cap growth product.

This allows the Emerging Growth team, led by Marshall Bassett, to focus on mid-cap, small/mid-cap and small-cap growth products and strategies, according to the company.

Van Harte will manage the team, and will report to managing director and head of equity investments Patrick Coyne.

Delaware Investments is based in Philadelphia and is an asset management organization with more than $90 billion in assets under management.
