Willis Group Acquires CGI Consulting

The goal of the move it to grow Willis’ employee benefits unit, according to a press release from the company.The terms of the deal were not disclosed; it is expected to close at the end of February.

With annual revenues of $7 million, CGI provides benefits services and administrative solutions to mid-size companies located mainly in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the US. The firm is headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Willis’ Employee Benefits Practice recently also acquired PRIMARY Worldwide, a California-based employee benefits firm. Willis ( www.willis.com ) is a global insurance broker with office in over 100 countries.
