Adams to Lead American Savings Education Council
May 18, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Nevin Adams has been named director of the American Savings Education Council.

The council is a program of the nonpartisan Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI). Nevin will lead the council as part of his responsibilities as director of Education and External Relations at EBRI.
The American Savings Education Council (ASEC) is a partnership of public and private-sector organizations working to increase financial capability. Its mission is “to make saving and retirement planning a priority for all Americans.“
“Nevin brought his decades of savings/financial/retirement program experience to EBRI and these programs when he joined EBRI last year, and he will ensure that they continue to be stellar programs in the future,” noted Dallas Salisbury, EBRI president and CEO.“The importance of saving—and the challenges of financial literacy—are particularly crucial during this period of financial stress,” said Adams. “ASEC has been a key resource on these issues since 1995.”
