CA Firm Offers K Plan Savings Calculator

February 11, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Plan sponsors trying to demonstrate the potential tax advantages of 401(k) savings plans to employees now have another tool to use in accomplishing that task.

PaycheckCity.com, a Los Angeles-based payroll services company, offers a series of calculators on its Web site, including one for 401(k) deferral decisions, which can be used to show employees how much they will save in taxes by increasing their retirement savings.

The calculator is designed to allow the user to determine all state and federal tax, retirement, and benefit deductions that can be taken from a paycheck, a company announcement said.
