Execs Found Hunting on the Job
April 18, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Most job seekers
have no qualms about looking for a new position while they
are employed, a new survey by Accountemps finds.

According to the survey, 69% of respondents said they would be comfortable scouting around for a new position while still on the job.
Further, the survey found that shopping around while still earning a paycheck does not bother executives either.
- 36% of executives said they were very comfortable looking for a new position
- while 26% said they were somewhat uncomfortable, and
- only 5% said they were very uncomfortable
The survey was an independent research firm and included responses from 150 executives at large companies.
