New Public Employee Web Site Unveiled

April 30, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - ICMA Retirement Corp. (ICMA-RC) has unveiled VantageLink, a retirement Web site for the public-sector market.

ICMA-RC said in a press release that the new product offers employees the ability to personalize their home pages to show the industry news of their choice. VantageLink also hosts online discussions about pending pension-reform legislation.

VantageLink includes the following news channels for the public sector, ICMA-RC said:

  • Accounting of Employee Benefit Plans
  • Convention Planning
  • Criminology and Law Enforcement
  • Education
  • Firefighting
  • Highway Administration
  • Local Government
  • Mass Transit
  • Recycling and Waste Management
  • Water and Sewer

Users will also be able to access information on financial services and retirement planning, the company said.

ICMA-RC manages and is the administrator for over $15 billion in public sector retirement plan assets in over 5,000 plans covering more than 550,000 public sector employees.
