Payroll Provider Adds 401(k) Services to Product Offering

November 2, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Detroit-based Comprehensive Payroll Company (CPC) has added the 401(k) plan services of ExpertPlan to its product lineup.

In a news release from ExpertPlan, CPC President Chris Ingoglia said the automation, cost and investment lineup of ExpertPlan’s 401(k) offering were major considerations in the decision to adopt the product. He also said ExpertPlan’s technology could be easily integrated with CPC’s systems.

Ingoglia said his firm has found that many employers automatically expect payroll providers to address 401(k) needs as well. ExpertPlan President Julian Onorato said in the release, “As a growing number of providers bundle payroll and 401(k) services, independent providers without a 401(k) capability may find their traditional payroll business at risk.”
