Segal Announces New York Regional Manager

May 21, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Segal Company has promoted Diane Gleave to the position of New York Regional Manager.

Gleave, who was previously a senior vice president and actuary at the firm, is an expert on the ramifications of the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA’06). She also consults with many national, regional and local multiemployer defined benefit plans. She replaces Jonathan A. Parker, who retired from the firm.

“Diane’s experience as a consultant, an actuary and a senior manager provided her with a firm foundation for this key role for Segal,” said Joseph A. LoCicero, The Segal Company’s president and CEO. “She has deep knowledge of our business and is committed to our clients and to our colleagues.”

Gleave graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s of science in mathematics. She is an associate of the Society of Actuaries, a fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an enrolled actuary. Gleave currently serves on the Multiemployer Plans Subcommittee of the American Academy of Actuaries and is an adviser to the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans.
